Make sure that Apply only to this picture is not selected so that the changes you make here will apply to all pictures in the document. Select Delete cropped areas of pictures. This option removes the cropped picture data but note that if you delete the cropped picture data, you won't be able to restore it.

Under Resolution , select Use default resolution. Select Compress Pictures. Under Target output , select Use document resolution. Select Discard editing data. This option removes stored data that's used to restore the image to its original state after it's been edited. Note that if you discard editing data, you won't be able to restore the image after you edit it.

In the Default resolution list, select a resolution of ppi or lower. In most cases, you won't need the resolution to be higher than that. If not, break them into smaller logical segments. Breaking things into smaller documents will make things load faster, scroll better, and all around make your life happier during your Word work. It is also easier if you plan on sending out portions of the document for different people.

I would give anyone contributing a master copy of the RFP request, and a formatted copy of the material relevant to them. This made stitching the final response together much easier. There will come a time where you need to stitch these documents into one, and it is important to leave yourself time to do this. With practice, it will be a quick process. The first couple of times you do it, it may however take a couple times. I like to use a dual monitor approach, and pick one screen for editing, while I use the other screen for any source material.
